Board privacy

Learn about board privacy in TaskFord to control who can access boards, view content, and collaborate within a board.

Board privacy in TaskFord allows you to control who can access and interact with your boards. By setting the appropriate privacy level for your board, you can determine who can view, create, or edit content within the board.

TaskFord offers three privacy settings for boards: Open, Limited, and Private.

Open boards

Open boards are visible to everyone within your organization. Any user can access the board, view its content, and interact with it.

  • All users in the organization can access an open board
  • Non-members are granted Editor permissions by default
  • Board members have permissions based on their assigned roles

Limited boards

Limited boards are visible to everyone within your organization, but only invited members can create or edit content. This setting allows broad visibility while restricting who can actively contribute.

  • All users in the organization can access an open board
  • Non-members are granted Viewer permissions by default
  • Board members have permissions based on their assigned roles

Private boards

Private boards are restricted to board admins and invited members only. This is the most restrictive privacy setting, ensuring that only explicitly invited users can access or interact with the board.

  • Only board admins and invited members can access the board
  • The board is hidden from all non-members
  • Board members have permissions based on their assigned roles
