Critical Path

Identify the Critical Path in TaskFord’s Gantt view to highlight tasks that directly impact your project’s completion date.

Who can use this feature?
  • Board Admins / Board Editors can identify the Critical Path in the Gantt view.
  • Site Admins / Site Editors can identify the Critical Path in the Gantt view only on Open boards.

In project management, the Critical Path is the longest sequence of dependent tasks that must be completed on time for a project to meet its deadline. If any task on this path is delayed, the entire project will be delayed.

In TaskFord, tasks on the Critical Path are highlighted in red in the Gantt view, making it easy to quickly identify and focus on the tasks that have the greatest impact on project completion, helping you prioritize work more effectively.

Identify the Critical Path

You can identify the Critical Path in the Gantt view in two ways:

Option 1

  1. Click Customize in the toolbar.

  1. Toggle Critical Path to enable it.

You can also enable the Critical Path directly by toggling the Critical Path button in the toolbar.
