How board access affects dashboard data visibility
If a user has permission to access a dashboard but does not have permission to access a connected board in that dashboard, they will not be able to view that board or its associated data within the dashboard.
Users will only see data from the boards they have permission to access. This ensures that sensitive or restricted data is protected and only visible to users who are authorized to view it.
Consequently, the data shown on the dashboard may vary between users based on the boards they are authorized to view.
- If a team member cannot access some connected boards, you must subscribe them to those boards or ask the board admin to grant access.
- If the dashboard admin is not also the board admin, they must contact the relevant board admin to request the required permissions.
