Dashboard privacy
Learn about dashboard privacy in TaskFord to control who can access dashboards, view content, and collaborate using Public or Private settings.
Dashboards can be configured with two different privacy settings to control who has access to the dashboard and its contents: Public and Private. Understanding how these privacy settings work will help you manage which users can view and interact with your dashboards.
Public dashboards
A public dashboard is accessible to all users within the workspace, making it easy for team members to view and join. This setting is ideal for dashboards that need to be shared across the entire team or workspace.
- All users in the organization can access an open dashboard
- Non-members are granted Editor permissions by default
- Dashboard members have permissions based on their assigned roles
Private dashboards
A private dashboard is restricted and can only be accessed by users who are explicitly invited. This setting is ideal for dashboards that contain sensitive or project-specific data and should only be visible to a select group of users.
- Only dashboard admins and invited members can access the dashboard
- The dashboard is hidden from all non-members
- Dashboard members have permissions based on their assigned roles
