Intro to sites

A site in TaskFord is your central workspace for managing projects, tasks, and team collaboration with a unique URL.

What is a site in TaskFord?

In TaskFord, a Site is the highest organizational level within the platform. It represents an entire company, department, or team, and acts as the central workspace for managing all work-related elements, such as boards, projects, portfolios, tasks, resources, and team members.

Each site operates independently and is accessed through its own unique URL, providing a personalized and secure space for your team to collaborate.

Here are the key aspects of a Site in TaskFord:

  • Unique URL & independence: Each site operates independently with a dedicated URL, ensuring that all activities and data within that Site remain separated from other Sites.
  • Centralized organization: A site serves as the hub for all work management, housing boards, projects, tasks, resources, and team members. It keeps all your team’s work in one place for easy access and tracking.
  • Multi-site management: Users can create or join multiple sites, making it flexible to manage different teams or departments separately. Switching between sites is quick and simple.
  • Billing & subscription: TaskFord uses a per-seat billing model, where each seat is assigned to a member in a Site. If you manage multiple paid Sites, each Site is billed separately based on its seat count, even if the same account or members are part of multiple Sites. Each Site can also have its own billing cycle and payment method.
  • Accessing sites: When you first join TaskFord, you typically start with the Free Forever plan. You can create additional sites or join existing sites via invitations from your team or company.
